Phaxis is seeking an immediate Certified Medical Assistant for our practice in Staten Island.
Job Duties:
- Greeting, triaging, and rooming patients.
- Cleaning and preparing exam rooms.
- Collect and update patient history.
- Assist physician with ambulatory surgeries.
- Insurance verification.
- Willingness to work in other locations within Staten Island.
- Obtain patient vitals and perform screenings per provider guidlines.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Diploma or RMA, AMT, or AAMA Certification
- BLS Certification
- EMR System experience
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
