Job description

We are looking for qualified CNC Mill and CNC Lathe machinists. Candidates MUST be able to program at the controls and have some programming background.

Pay: $20-$33/hour (pay may be negotiable depending on experience and qualifications). Overtime and opportunities for growth are available!

Experience on 3,4 and 5-axis mills, with the ability to do set-ups and edit programs. Some knowledge/experience with MasterCam is a plus. A good understanding of shop math (trigonometry) and inspection, as well as a collaborative mindset is necessary. The ability to be coached, high integrity, and a willingness to own up to mistakes are crucial.

The qualified candidate for this person must be technically capable, and have experience in the following:

• CNC Machinist with experience operating and doing set-ups on CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes
• Candidate MUST have additional technical knowledge and experience with live tooling, off-sets and light controls editing.

Qualifications:

• CNC Mills and Lathe Experience 2-3 years
• CNC programming/editing at the controls: 1 year (Required)
• High school or equivalent (Required).
• US work authorization (Required).

Skills:

• Adhere to 5S and lean standards.
• Stand and walk for up to 5 hours at a time. Lift up to 40lbs.
• Basic general inspection equipment, materials, and math, and geometry knowledge and skills. Communication skills to train others as needed.
