Description:

• Setting up and operating CNC Mills on incredibly tight tolerances parts for the medical device market.
• Depending on your experience you will do a variety of long run production to mid-run setups on multiple machines, there is room for advancement to move to more of the prototype work.
• Frequent in-process inspection with a variety of standard pieces of inspection equipment such as calibers, micrometers, and microscopes.
• Will have to deburr own parts under a microscope.

Benefits

Currently running a $3,000 sign on bonus for machining. Shift differential is 20% on 2nd shift, 25% on Weekend shift, 30% on Weekend night shift.

Company pays OT every day after 8 hours, and they work 12 hour shifts.

Once you've been employed for 6 months, company will reimburse up to $10,000 per year in tuition. Also – once you've has been there 6 months, you can apply for the apprentice program. The apprentice program is up to 2 years long, you learn all the different aspects of the shop – machining, machine setup, quality, finishing, and an exposure to programming and engineering. At the end of 2 years, they can apply for the journeyman program, which would come with a higher pay grade.
