Commercial Construction Superintendent (5+ Years of Experience)
Finish Line Builders, Inc is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for commercial projects specific to self-storage design and build in the Orlando / Central Florida area. Must have minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent.

JOB SUMMARY

The superintendent is responsible for the overall safety, schedule, quality, and management of on-site activities for each construction project that they are assigned. They will work accordingly with the project team to ensure all project goals are met on schedule and within budget. Individual must be accountable with strong communication and leadership skills.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise all subcontractors on site – monitor contracted scope of work
• Manage construction activities to meet schedule requirements – identify conflicts and communicate progress reports to project team
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions
• Establish and enforce job site quality control programs throughout completion of construction
• Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health and environmental quality standards
• Ensure compliance and communication regarding ASI’s, RFI’s and Material Submittals
• Prepare progress reports and maintain daily log of job site activities – walk all units on project daily and document progress

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Proficient at reading blueprint plans and specifications
2. Strong communication, time management and leadership skills – ability to write routine reports/correspondence
3. Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc) and Procore

Technologies
4. Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra or geometry to calculate figures and amounts – such as, discounts, interest, commission, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
5. Knowledge and understanding of government regulations
