Summary:
Administer compensation programs and policies for Catholic Health including, but not limited to, annual GWI and merit programs and the implementation of collective bargaining agreements. Ensure all are processed timely and accurately. Review and analyze organizational restructures and new or updated job descriptions for content and relative value. Collect and analyze market data to determine appropriate grade of new or updated job descriptions. Research market to identify wage inequities. Compile and review data necessary to complete equity adjustments. Research, compose, and implement or terminate pay practices as appropriate. Provide compensation advice and support to business units. Research market and update salary structure annually. Determine appropriate offer rates for candidates based upon market and internal equity. Complete salary surveys.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION
  • B ach elor's Degree in Business or Human Resources strongly preferred; or a minimum of five (5) years direct compensation work experience in lieu of degree
EXPERIENCE
  • A mini mum of three (3) to five (5) years of compensation or financial / statistical analysis related work experience; preferably within a multi-facility and/or healthcare work environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • E xcellen t knowledge of established compensation principles and practices and the ability to successfully apply said principles and practices within a multi-facility, complex organization
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and organizational skills. Accuracy and attention to detail a must
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access software application skills
  • Multi-Systems knowledge, preferably in Lawson, AS400, and Position Manager
  • Strong ability to analyze market data and complete comparative analysis for positions in the healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated superior customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
