South Boston Life Science - Production Associate

Job Description:

Boston based biotech services and supply company is hiring for its internal team. We are looking for an energetic and reliable Production Associate to work in our new CNC machine shop and composites production facility.

The tasks of the Production Associate will include material handling, adhering to production schedules and operating our CNC router, mini mill and composites layup. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing projects and work flow while working with little supervision.

Production Associate responsibilities include:

• Material handling - mostly sheet stock G10 and PVC
• Operate CNC router table and produce stock parts for in-house projects
• Adhere to production schedules set by Project Coordinator
• Build composites tooling to product simple parts in house
• Carbon fiber/Fiberglass/Kevlar lay up
• Aluminum milling
• Fusion360 experience a bonus
• Assist Engineering and other Production associates

Requirements

• Proven experience with Composites and CNC Routers
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/general business software and phone systems
• High school diploma: BS/BA and/or relevant experience is preferred

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

Salary: $24-28 Depending on Experience

Physical Requirements: Close toe shoes required in warehouse for safety. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs on a daily basis.
