Job description
Metro Green Construction, an Atlanta-based Commercial General Contracting company, has an immediate opening for a Superintendent in the Atlanta area. The Superintendent is responsible for all on-site planning and execution of the construction process through all phases. The ideal candidate will have experience working on projects valued between $5 and $50 Million.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- An undergraduate degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a lead superintendent on commercial construction sites.
- Proficient with electronic communication and devices.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Automotive and/or Multi-family construction experience is preferred.
Job Functions
Facilitate the Construction Process
- Develops work plans for and oversees subcontractors and self-performed work.
- Creates, manages, changes, and implements the project’s schedule as needed, in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Responsible for the management of all job resources needs for the project; such as material, equipment, labor, and trade subcontractors.
- Understands and applies the terms and conditions of the owner and subcontractor contracts for the project.
- Has a complete understanding of the construction process for all trades sufficient enough to be able to identify deficiencies and others' work and evaluate plans for resolution.

- Monitoring job site general health, safety, and control of the project site.
- Physically lift up to 100lbs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
