Job description

The Cost Accountant will perform advanced cost accounting analyses to compare estimated costs to actual costs and prepare a variety of related budget reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Audit BOMs work with Engineering to maintain BOM accuracy.
Reviews and analyzes actual costs to identify inaccuracies.
Performs month-end and year-end closings with assistance.
Update or create OH codes and formulas.
Audit product site setup and OH calculations ensuring correct setup
Audit and maintain PO price books with purchasing on changes and price rolls.
Work with ECO changes, coordinate and perform
Maintain intercompany and interstate SO/PO price books
Active parts clean up and maintenance within the item master.
Perform other duties and analytics as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required.
At least two years of experience in cost accounting required.
Strong accounting, project coordinating and administrative skills
Proficiency in MS office computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as accounting software.
Experience with Sage a plus but not a requirement.
Proficient in data entry and management

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
