Golf Scorecards Inc. is within our Recreation segment and has been printing scorecards along with other related materials for the golf industry since 1980. We are a leader in our industry working with over 2,000 golf courses nationally as well as globally, working with many of the larger golf management companies and having long relationships with many sections and chapters of the PGA.
ABOUT THE POSITION: We are searching for a full-time, results driven Customer Service Specialist who can take charge of both outbound calls to and inbound calls (and emails) from our business customers to check inventory levels and assist with orders. This team member will answer questions related to order status, process changes, and occasionally send individually customized sample packets. While this person’s primary responsibility will be customer service, part of their time may be spent on a few other tasks and special projects. We value versatility and a willingness to pitch-in when help is needed in other areas of our business.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Experience using technology in a business environment, Microsoft 365/office suite strongly preferred
- Experience using a customer database to track projects and customer interaction
- Experience collaborating with other teams and departments
- Experience communicating with phone and computer technology
SKILLS/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to come up with customized solutions to a variety of different situations
- Excellent customer focus
- Self-directed, motivated and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED required

- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc. as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
