Younger Insurance Agency is a growing insurance agency providing auto, home, renters, and other personal lines policies to the local tri-state area market. Younger Insurance works with over eight different carriers in MD, PA, WV, VA, and DC.

The Position:

Younger Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated customer service representative to join their growing team in Hagerstown, MD. We are looking for someone that thrives in a high-paced sales environment that is organized and willing to learn about the insurance industry. Candidates must be comfortable multitasking and interacting in person with customers. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Answer phones, respond to emails, organize office materials
• Assist agents in non-licensed insurance transactions
• Manage assigned leads
• Manage document retention process for new and renewal process
• Collaborate with agent’s onsite and at other Younger Insurance locations
• Effectively document and process all account transactions in Agency Management System
• Maintain agency book of business by servicing accounts, fielding customer questions, answering telephones, and responding to inquirers in a timely matter

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of one (1) years of experience in a related position (sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, etc.)
• Strong written, verbal, and listening skills
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with CRM software is a plus
• Experience with Vertafore products is a plus (PL Rater and QQ Catalyst)
• Being bilingual is a plus
• Property and Casualty Insurance Producer Licenses is a plus, but not a requirement. We are willing to train and contribute to licensing expenses for the right candidate.

Pay: From $37,000.00 per year
