JOB OPENING – Delivery & Warehouse Position in Des Moines

Walsh Door & Security is seeking a Full-time Delivery and Warehouse Team Member at our Des Moines location. We
specialize in commercial doors, frames, hardware, cameras, and access control systems for projects throughout Iowa and

and three locations – Des Moines, Iowa City and Kansas City.

Job Description:
• Drive company straight truck or pick-up to and from customer project sites primarily in Des Moines area. Some

out-of-state day trips may be required.

• Deliver commercial doors, frames, and hardware to project job sites and end users.

• Load and unload commercial doors, frames, and hardware for deliveries by hand.

• Secure loads with applicable strapping and packaging materials.

• Check loads and deliveries for accuracy against shipping tickets.

• Clean and organize warehouse. Includes receiving material, putting material in proper location, and cleaning.

• 40 hours per week, typically between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with a 30-minute lunch break. Hours

Job Requirements:
• Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license required.

• Must pass pre-employment physical fit test, drug screen, and background check.

• Must drive in a safe and efficient manner to limit risk exposures.

• Must be able to safely lift and move large doors and door frames. This includes sitting, standing, walking,
