We are looking to hire a Demand Planner in Pico Rivera, CA. This is a Direct Hire opportunity for our client.

Summary: Responsibile for implementation of policies, procedues, and safety operations. Reviews results by analyzing available information and comparing them to company objectives and takes the necessary steps to improve results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Train new and existing employees on operation and safety procedures.
• Prepare work schedules.
• expedite work flow.
• Review amount of work needed and estimate man hours need to complete.
• Inspect products to verify machines are working properly.
• Ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.
• Review, analyze and consolidate weekly sales forecasts provided by the customers based on historical data, seasonality, demand inputs (new/discontinued products, promotion plans, etc.)
• Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Customer Service and Customers to ensure that current, accurate and timely information is used.
• Upload and update forecast in the system.
• Proactively track sales vs forecast to identify and take corrective action for any under/over consumption. Monitor KPIs.
• Provide input to the Planning, Procurement & New Product Development departments in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
• Monitor SKU level sales and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives in the future.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of college degree or equivalent experience.
• Supervisory experience in manufacturing and Union environments.
• 0 to 2 years’ experience in Forecasting and Demand Planning
• Experience in Food/Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods Industry preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented with proven accuracy.
• Strong analytical experience in MS office.
• Extensive Excel spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large amounts of data is required.
• 0 to 2 years ERP (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics 365, etc.) experience preferred
• Data Analytics/Visualization (Tableau. Power BI, Jet Analytics, etc.) experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
