West County Health Centers Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a national leader in transforming community health centers to patient-focused centers of care. WCHC has a consistent record and reputation of providing the highest standard of care within a community health care setting. WCHC provides access to dental services at two of our locations, Sebastopol and new our Russian River Clinic in Guerneville CA.

We have immediate openings for a dentist to staff our Russian River Health Center clinic in Guerneville, CA.

Responsiblities:

• Provide dental services.
• Supervise dental staff during chairside procedures.
• Assist in development of dental clinic policies and aid Dental Director in their implementation.
• Keep Dental Director abreast of current activities, situations, accomplishments, etc. in the department.
• Maintain clear channels of communication with all staff and supervisors.
• Facilitate and conduct visits via video technology to enhance care coordination and access to care.
• Assist is the adoption and implementation of new technologies and activities that improve patient care and clinic efficiencies.
• Actively attend all staff meetings.

• Must comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations, and WCHC policies.
• Must have excellent written and oral skills, strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Must have ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Required to have versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and positive attitude.
• Expected to have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to understand and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Able to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Required to have the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
• Demonstrate a positive customer service, patient centered approach at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited U.S. Dental School
• Valid California State license in good standing
• One year experience in private practice or completion of AEGD or GPR
• Current CPR certificate
• Valid DEA License

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to move freely about the office and carry light loads (up to 25 pounds)
• Prolonged standing and/or sitting required.
• Ability to work with office equipment, including computers
