Role: Quickbase Developer/Admin
Location: Farmers branch, TX
Duration: 6 months with ext possible
Seeking a QuickBase Developer/Admin for a contract opportunity.
The QuickBase Developer/Admin is responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining QuickBase applications; often using scripts, APIs, and third-party integration tools along with native QuickBase functionality and web applications. The role also engages with internal business customers, helping to translate requirements into action, while ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of the database.
What you will do for Fay:
- Responsible for the daily administration, configuration, maintenance, and end-user support of the QuickBase environment for users
- Work with Senior Leadership to define reporting requirements and manage system enhancements.
- Lead and participate on project teams on tasks and activities within the supported environments
- Design and implement solutions for managing applications and infrastructure, with goals of increasing the security, reliability, repeatability, and consistency of operational tasks
- Monitor data quality and integrity. Execute data migration/cleansing projects
- Take initiative to improve processes, decrease delivery time, and improve satisfaction. Look for ways to automate manual processes and increase self-capabilities
- Collaborate with teams effectively, seek to understand user experience and stakeholder perspective on processes, and deliver clear solutions to stakeholders.
- Leverage available documentation, training, team resources, and vendor teams to administer all team applications
- Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor and identify insights from the user support requests we receive
- Longer term, this role has the growth potential to own the ongoing strategy for our internal Quickbase, Self-Service training portals
- Identify suitable vendors, negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices for products and services, and ensure that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations.
- Oversee the feature request/support backlog and work with the relevant leaders to prioritize and execute
- Develop and improve upon life-cycle management, and patch remediation to support security and audit compliance
What you will bring to Fay:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience; High school diploma/GED required
- 5+ years of experience creating Quickbase applications
- Understanding of relational database architecture and standard CRM system structure.
- Skilled in collecting, aggregating, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data
- Demonstrated experience developing and improving processes to drive business efficiencies.
- Proven ability to build effective partnerships with business owners and technical partners.
- Proactive and able to work with autonomy, thinking outside the box, self-starting problem solver, and target driven
- Expert-level proficiency in scripting/programming languages
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work with key stakeholders across the organization; manage laterally and upward
