Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project team to understand the software architecture and development process
- Create and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, or GitLab CI/CD
- Manage containers deployed in Docker and Kubernetes
- Work with the security team to ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance
- Continuously improve the deployment process to ensure the delivery of high-quality software
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience, either through working experience or classroom projects, in software development, DevOps, or cloud engineering
- Experience, either through working experience or classroom projects, with container infrastructure management (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
- Knowledge of at least one programming / scripting language (Python, Java, etc.)
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, and GitLab CI/CD
- Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices
