About The Role

Leads a Digital Engineering team responsible for employing Parry Labs’ digital ecosystem in an unclassified cloud environment. This is used for development, incubation, maturation, deployment, and support of military specific R&D capabilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Reconstituting an instantiation to support the customer’s R&D community.
• Managing and hosting the cloud environment, supporting the R&D community and supporting government insight into ongoing developments.
• Managing the technical architecture and leading the digital engineering team.
• Overseeing the team’s operation activities and acting as the primary liaison to the government, prime contractor and Parry Labs management.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the design, integration, and analysis of military systems with data modeling, data architecture, data interoperability, and evaluation.
• 5+ years of experience leading digital transformation initiatives with big data platforms, solutions, and cloud-based development on cloud platforms environments (i.e., Amazon Web Services (AWS), MS Azure, Oracle, and Google Cloud Platforms).
• Experience implementing data model concepts, data taxonomies, and data ontologies to classify enterprise data.
• Experience designing and implementing decoupled cloud-based solutions supporting big data and data analytics using a Modular Open Systems.
• Experience with designing, developing, and implementing cloud migration strategies.
• Experience with software development, architectural design, and requirements decomposition of complex systems that include multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Perl, Python and JScript).
• Data engineering, data synchronization, data replication, and interoperability for complex systems leveraging industry standard tools and technologies such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), Erwin Data Modeler, Magic Draw, MS SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, Hive, and MongoDB.

• US Citizenship required. Secret cleared with ability to acquire TS/SCI clearance.
