What you'll do:

The HPE College New Hire Program is our investment in your future. This comprehensive training program is focused on learning and equips you with the knowledge, skills, and expertise to be successful in your career as an HPE Digital Sales Representative. You will gain a solid foundational understanding of the HPE server, networking, storage, software, and virtualization platforms that are the backbones to solving the most disruptive challenges of today. You will also be given the professional skills you need to operate as the ultimate advisor in today’s rapidly evolving technology market.

The accelerated experience you gain through our training program will give you what would normally take multiple years to acquire. Upon successful graduation from the program, you will hold recognition as a top trained sales representative in our industry.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will:

  • Find and nurture new clients and opportunities for HPE and our Partners, with the goal of exceeding sales targets while achieving profitable growth
  • Develop and work to closure a robust sales pipeline within a targeted territory that possesses time tested forecasting integrity
  • Build meaningful relationships across the HPE partner ecosystem that will leverage the deep capabilities of our partners to gain a competitive advantage and capture substantial new market share

What you’ll need:

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree with a strong preference for majors and minors in business, sales, or marketing or related fields prior to your start date
  • Experience or a proven interest in sales and a passion for technology
  • Excellent at building relationships at all levels and having solution focused discussions
  • Basic understanding of the tech industry

  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • The drive to seek out what’s next and to deliver exceptional results
  • A collaborative, solution focused spirit and overall sense of urgency
  • Ability to understand complex subjects and effectively communicate the primary principles back to others
  • Discipline and determination to complete daily tasks required to succeed
  • Desire to discover business problems and help to solve them

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills and the ability to ask smart questions

If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $46,300.00 - $98,100.00
