Director of Food Services

BASIC FUNCTION

To plan, organize develop and direct day to day operations of the dietary department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility. Assure quality nutrition services are provided daily.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Policies and Procedures:

Responsible for maintaining, implementing, reviewing, developing and revising dietary policies and procedures.

Dietary Staff:

Responsible for recruiting and hiring sufficient dietary personnel to carry out the functions of the dietary service. Responsible for evaluating staff performance, counseling staff as needed and terminating employees who fail to comply with facility policies and procedures.

State and Federal Regulations:

Responsible for compliance with state and federal regulatory licensure and certification requirements for dietary services.

EXPERIENCE

Must have experience in a long term care setting and two years’ experience in supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $58,000.00 per year
