Position Scope
Our client is seeking a talented Director of Marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled marketing strategist with a passion for developing and implementing unique marketing techniques and business development approaches. The successful candidate is committed and dedicated, responsible, focused, detail-oriented, able to adjust in a fast-paced working environment, collaborate well with other staff members with a shared vision and demonstrate excellent organizational communication skills.
This position will be based in our Woburn, MA location. For exceptional candidates, this can be a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Lead a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the Organization’s image and position and facilitate internal and external communications.
- Lead market research, content development, digital advertising, paid media, collateral development, and tradeshow messaging.
- Develop and execute company messaging and identify new ways to approach the market and expand existing contacts and engagements in the industry.
- Create valuable content for the company's online presence, editorial design, and organize the company's publications.
- Lead social media strategy, manage copy/content creation and metrics analysis.
- Website oversight, maintenance, analytics and content creation and refresh.
- Manage marketing and communications agencies and vendors, if any.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in business administration, marketing, communications, or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a marketing leader with a track record of success.
- Battery or E-Mobility industry experience is a must.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak at conferences, webinars, etc. with excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent writing and publishing skills in national publications.
- Analytical and creative thinking skills.
- Thorough knowledge of current and online marketing techniques and best practices.
