The Director of SaaS Implementation has overall responsibility for implementing multi-disciplinary oncology SaaS solutions and for shaping how such solutions are implemented with a mix of resources on your direct team and resources across Varian. In this role, you will be managing a team of project managers, implementation specialists, and others.

To support the most effective cancer therapies across a range of therapeutic modalities, Varian deploys sophisticated software capabilities. Ranging from EHR systems to treatment planning software, to analytics, to machine consoles, and more, our software is deployed on a variety of platforms that provide hosting, deployment management, interoperability, connectivity, messaging, and many more types of services to enable optimum deployment, operations, and maintenance of our software assets across client-server, cloud-native, and hybrid architectures.

The Director of SaaS Solutions Implementation has overall responsibility for implementing multi-disciplinary oncology SaaS solutions and for shaping how such solutions are implemented with a mix of resources on your direct team and resources across Varian. In this role, you will be managing a team of project managers, implementation specialists, and others.

Job Responsibilities
As the leader of SaaS solutions implementation, you will:
  • Oversee and ensure that SaaS solutions are implemented on time within budget and to our quality norms.
  • Manage and communicate the implementation pipeline
  • Provide regular updates on implementations to customers and internal stakeholders, report on risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, engineering, product management, and key stakeholders to negotiate prioritization of customers, projects, and product roadmap align with customer needs;
  • Ensure optimal resource allocation.
As the practice leader of the implementation of SaaS solutions, you will:
  • Own the vision for evolving the practice;
  • Define KPIs of processes to implement SaaS solutions;
  • Work cross-functionally to leverage competencies and capacities in other teams performing similar or complementary tasks;
  • Partner with product and platform engineering teams, operations and service teams, and other stakeholders to create an overall fantastic installation experience for everyone involved.
As a people manager, you will:

Requirements
  • 10+ years working with and implementing software solutions in healthcare.
  • 5+ working with clinical workflows and related systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to communicate with customers, peers, and engineers.
  • Strong team player and highly motivated.
  • Excellent inter-personal abilities. Strong negotiation skills. Very strong ability to build and grow relationships. Strong analytical skills. Professional person with high ethical standards and integrity.
  • Ability to navigate complex dependencies and translate them in simple business terms.
  • Ability to find compromises across competing agendas.
  • Ability to drive adoption and expansion of newly implemented software in a clinical environment
  • Desired: industry experience in healthcare, familiarity with electronic medical records, SaaS delivered products, healthcare IT interoperability in best of breed environments, is highly desirable.

Travel requirement: up to 25%
