We're seeking a skilled and experienced Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in coordinating and managing our operations effectively. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, you'll utilize your expertise to ensure efficient scheduling, timely response to customer requests, and smooth communication between our field staff and clients.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and Coordinate Assignments: Receive incoming service requests and prioritize and schedule assignments based on urgency, availability of resources, and customer requirements. Efficiently assign tasks to field staff, considering factors such as location, skills, and workload.

Dispatch Field Personnel: Communicate with field staff via phone, radio, or other communication systems to provide them with assignment details, including location, instructions, and any specific customer requests. Ensure clear and accurate transmission of information to facilitate prompt and effective response.

Monitor Operations: Track the progress of field personnel and maintain real-time awareness of their locations and activities. Monitor performance metrics, such as response times and completion rates, to identify any issues or delays and take appropriate actions to maintain optimal service levels.

Customer Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers to provide updates on service requests, estimated arrival times, and any changes to schedules. Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.

Troubleshooting: Act as a point of contact for field staff in case of unexpected situations, such as equipment malfunctions, delays, or emergencies. Provide guidance and support to troubleshoot issues and resolve them efficiently to minimize disruptions and maintain service quality.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service requests, assignments, and relevant communications in appropriate databases or software systems. Generate reports on performance, incidents, and other relevant data as required.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in industries such as transportation, logistics, or emergency services is advantageous.

- Familiarity with local geography and navigation tools to assist in accurate assignment and efficient routing of field personnel.

- Proficient in using computer systems, software applications, and communication devices. Experience with dispatching software or fleet management systems is desirable.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective coordination and clear transmission of information.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

- Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions to address unexpected situations and resolve issues.

- Ability to work collaboratively with field staff, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.

Salary: $20hr & up (depending on experience). Great earning potential.
