Division Controller with a Premier Tampa Bay Company

$115,000 - $135,000 + 10% - 15% defined annual bonus

Tampa, FL 33607 (Rocky Point)

We are currently performing an exclusive search for a high caliber Division Controller with a premier Tampa Bay based company which is a leader in its industry. The position is newly created due to several recent acquisitions, has phenomenal visibility and growth potential, excellent work/life balance and offers a strong employee benefits package.

Key Responsibilities of the Division Controller:

• Manage, coach and develop the accounting team.
• Prepare and analyze the monthly and quarterly financial statement reporting packages for distribution to the executive leadership team.
• Perform detailed financial analysis including comprehensive dashboards, metrics, KPIs, etc.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all financial accounts.
• Ensure a strong internal control environment and be a key driver in maintaining SOX compliance.
• Review, analyze and interpret results of operations, identify financial and operational issues and make recommendations for change.
• Support the integration of new acquisitions / business units.
• Liaison with external auditors to support the annual audit.
• Assist in the annual budget and forecasting process.
• Perform a variety of special projects as needed.

Experience & Qualifications for the Division Controller:

• 8-12 years progressive professional experience in a large corporate environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA preferred
• Strong Excel and ERP skill sets
