Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment in a safe manner
- Additional duties include doing daily vehicle and equipment inspections, and informing dispatch manager of any required maintenance to truck, forklifts, or other related equipment
- Be able to keep equipment clean and in orderly fashion
- Some heavy lifting required; must be able to regularly lift/carry/move up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift/carry/move 100lbs
- Good organizational skills
- Will load trucks according to list of materials on sales order. Will organize and secure each load, and will physically help drivers unload materials to customer satisfaction
- Communicate with Dispatch Manager to ensure all task are complete and customer service is excellent
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Required Skills:
- Maintain a valid drivers license
- Organizational skills
- Effective communication
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- An employment drug screen and back ground check required before starting employment
