This renowned Community Medical Center is well-established in the community for providing high-quality patient-centered care for its residents and is looking for their next ED Nurse Manager to join their ranks!

This 25-bed Community Medical Center is continuously engaging the community it serves with education to promote optimal health and ensures they are receiving high quality medical services. Some of the services this Community Medical Center provides includes Behavioral Health, COVID-19 Testing/Vaccination, Laboratory Services, Radiology, a Skilled Nursing Facility, and a Family Resource Center to name a few. The ED Nurse Manager will get to be a part of the Hospital Leadership team that gets to positively impact the everyday lives of the community!

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the ED Nurse Manager will oversee this 5-bed Emergency Department and will have the opportunity to improve the unit’s overall operational efficiency. Direct reports for this position will include 80+ FTEs that will include TNCC Trauma Shift Supervisors and an incredibly talented tenured team of Emergency Services Registered Nurses (RN) and Nursing Assistants. Additional support for the ED Nurse Manager will come from Nurse and Physician leaders that will ensure the goals of the role will always be met.

The Nursing Manager of Emergency Services will manage the overall clinical operations while providing continuous leadership and direction of the delivery of patient care within the unit. This leader will serve as subject matter expert on Emergency Care Education initiatives, will support skills and competency development for the whole staff, and will spearhead quality improvement initiatives that include improving LWOBS and Door-to-Doc times. The Nursing Manager will also have oversight of annual budget development and staffing operations.
