Job description
- Assisting Education Department in supervising Inmates assigned to classes.
- Supervising Inmates assigned to take classes in the Education building and ensuring proper procedures are adhered to.
- Maintaining Security, Custody and Control.
- Performing random frisk searches of Inmates that enter and exit the Education building.
- All other duties as assigned in accordance with the Post Orders to include any duties and posts assigned by Supervisor.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen, at least 18 years of age & high school graduate or GED.
- Must possess a current valid driver’s license.
- Incumbent must satisfactorily complete all academics and on the job training by the S.C. Department of Corrections as specified.
- Must have completed Defensive Driving Training and cannot be on the “No Drive List and or the No Draw List” with SCDC.
- Must be certified within 6 months.
