Job Description:

Individuals are experienced performing the Electrician activities listed below on their own with little to no guidance or assistance from a Skill Trades Leader in a machine tool manufacturing environment.

Electrician Activities:

• Wire machinery from drawings and bill of material
• Wire panels
• Install communication blocks
• Wire Ethernet
• Wire auxiliary power
• Wire robots
• Wire safety circuits
• Wire 480V
• Tie in Tools/ Final dress of tools to controls
• Install temporary power
• Bend and install conduit
• Prepare tool with I/O block, Device Net and duct work
• Verify tags, tag units and cords
• Run cords and dress tool per customer requirements
• Ability to drill, tap and ream holes
• Use of hand saw, drill press and grinders
