What You Will Be Doing

The main purpose of this job is to develop research targets, design research projects, and analyze data to achieve research goals on time and on budget.

  • Participate in project teams to develop new and/or improved energy storage materials
  • Development of research project plans to achieve research goals
  • Represent company as a technical expert in meetings and at industry events
  • Lead preparation of research process documentation
  • Effectively utilize chemistry support personnel (Research Associates and Laboratory Technicians) to complete research experiments and data analysis on time and on budget

What You Need for this Position

  • Ph.D. om Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics other relevant discipline REQUIRED
  • 3+ Years experience with Lithium-ion batteries REQUIRED
  • Experience in lithium-ion electrolyte systems, including solvents, conductive salts, and additives development
  • Fluent in electrochemical techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, c, and common potentiostatic and galvanostatic methods
  • Strong expertise and extensive hands-on experience in organic chemistry including synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation
  • Experience with liquid electrolytes, polymer electrolytes, and ionic liquids
  • Effective time management in a semi-autonomous environment with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
