Summary/Objective:

DanceBody is looking for a customer-centric and results-oriented marketer to oversee our email marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is creative and analytical–with a dual passion for the art and science of email. You will engage customers with new and exciting messaging and creative email design while also examining the data to help meet our revenue goals and build brand awareness and affinity along the way.

Responsibilities:

• Brainstorm and craft relevant, personalized, and targeted marketing content that increases customer acquisition and lifetime value through campaigns and automated customer journey flows
• Attend a Marketing Meeting 1x weekly with Marketing Team
• Manage monthly email marketing operations from conception, copywriting and creative development, to QA and deployment
• Own the email content calendar, making updates and changes as needed for lifecycle and ad-hoc communications, and communicating them internally
• Produce drafts for email efforts including detailed goals, design considerations, audience segmentation, and testing processes
• Analyze and monitor email performance and KPIs, regularly communicating results and optimization ideas via reports and presentations
• Ensure data is accurate, reliable, and actionable, applying learnings to future campaigns
• Research and communicate ideas for strategies and processes to streamline email marketing operations
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our marketing and analytics infrastructure to support customer outreach campaigns and leverage data to drive engagement and sales

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience with email marketing, preferably for a direct-to-consumer brand
• Demonstrated ability to own cross-functional projects, aligning team members around deliverables and success metrics
• Process and detail oriented, with strong project management and copywriting skills
• Ability to use Google Analytics
• Experience using MindBody Marketing Suite or similar systems
• Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve operational and technical issues
• A proactive and collaborative approach
• A desire to master new tools, platforms, and channels
• A passion for following and analyzing digital marketing trends to keep our efforts cutting-edge
• Ability to adapt quickly as business and brand priorities shift
