CFR Engine Assistant

Intertek is searching for an CFR Engine Assistant to join our Caleb Brett team in our Gonzales, La. office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Intertek!

The CFR Engine Assistant is responsible for: Assisting with managing the day-to-day operation of the CFR Centre in Gonzales, including stock monitoring, ordering & receiving parts and maintaining an accurate inventory.

Provide support to the Caleb Brett group, globally, by packing and shipping urgent parts on an as needed basis.

Work with the CFR team to develop key operational and maintenance skills with a view to developing into a skilled CFR Engine Specialist.

Work with the rest of the CFR team to assist in overhauling and rebuilding test engines to further expand Intertek global capabilities.

What you’ll do:

• Mechanically inclined and ideally a general knowledge of engine operation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be willing to travel approximately 50% of time to further develop skills and knowledge. Mainly in US but international travel as well
• Sound relationship building skills
• Must be organized, self–directed and possess excellent time management skills with the ability to work as part of a team
