Where You'll Work & The Scope:

Vishay in Attleboro, MA is looking for an Engineering Technician. The Engineering Technician will work under the direction of the engineering manager toward the completion of departmental and company goals.

How You'll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

• Support engineering administrative functions pertaining to the design and manufacture of product.
• Create and maintain drawings; AutoCAD, Solidworks.
• Generation of manufacturing bill of materials and routing instructions for all products.
• Processing of engineering changes in co-ordination with the Documentation Manager.
• Conduct tests and collect data; network analyzer, pulse test, thermal analysis.
• Become familiar with the construction and assembly of product.
• Work with engineers to create support documentation for new product introductions.
• General computer support on technical and software issues.
• Create and maintain artwork files; FAB3000.
• Order tooling.
• Maintain engineering films library.

Qualifications:

• 2 year degree in related technical field or 2-4 years of related work experience
• High familiarity with computer products including the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to apply computer skills
• Ability to multitask
• Attention to detail
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shift on first shift

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
