About the Role

Cyber Management International Corporation is actively recruiting highly motivated IT Security professionals looking for challenging, exciting work in support of the U.S. Department of State (DOS). Specifically, our customer is the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Directorate of Cyber and Technology Security (CTS). DS/CTS is a center of excellence that brings together cybersecurity, technology security, and investigative expertise as a unified security capability focused on solving critical and emerging issues enabling the State Department to fulfill its vital global mission.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and quality delivery of vulnerability, compliance, database, and web scanning services across a large, global enterprise.
• Development and maintaining of a modernized service catalog for Enterprise Scanning services.
• Provide functional and technical leadership activities for the Enterprise Scanning team.
• Participate in intra-bureau working groups to improve continuous monitoring capabilities across the DoS enterprise.
• Maintain a list and schedule of all Information Systems (IS) that require ES assessments to support continuous monitoring and expeditious processing of ES assessments.
• Maintain security baseline configuration compliance and vulnerability scan policies Department hosted operating system platforms (i.e. windows, UNIX, Linux, Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
• Ensure knowledge base is complete and kept up-to-date.
• Provide contract and federal leadership with all required service metrics and deliverables.
• Conduct quality spot checks on service tickets

Qualifications: Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years experience required or a Master's Degree and a minimum of 6 years experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Possess CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE or SSCP.
• Experience assessing systems and networks to identify where systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations and standards.
• Experience executing enterprise-wide both operating system and application compliance verification, vulnerability assessments, on-site security assessments, web and database vulnerability scanning, and scanning of other IT assets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $115,000.00 per year
