Growing industrial manufacturer is looking for a Cost Estimating Manager to add to their team.

This position is responsible for the management of the estimating department. Functions include the evaluation of customer quote requests, including all associated costs related to selected raw materials and manufacturing processes, the designing of internal products and customer products, as well as assisting with technical support for manufacturing projects.

Role Objectives:

· Hands on management of the estimating department activities, include but are not limited to:

· Quotations

· Internal price analysis

· External price analysis

· Customer prices

· Department ISO documents

· Assist with UL activities

· Collaborate with internal team members and external customers to create quotations.

· Analyze blueprints, specifications and bill of materials.

· Prioritize work and manage multiple projects and deadlines, simultaneously.

· Review regulatory documents with supplies to verify materials adhere to REACH, RoHS, and Prop65 standards. Communicate findings to customer base.

· Assist plant production with LEAN efficiency improvements and product development.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Two- or four-year accredited degree (equivalent work experience will be acknowledged).

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· AutoCAD and/or SOLIDWORKS proficiency.

· Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.

· Skilled in Microsoft Suite (advanced excel).

· Solid understanding of standard costing applied in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
