Facilities Technician

An innovative, expanding, international company rooted in the Annapolis/Kent Island area of Maryland is looking for a multi-talented, handyperson to fill their facilities Technician role. This position will be responsible for making improvements and repairs to two facilities located in the Chesapeake Business Park.

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs a wide variety of plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry repairs/improvements to accommodate new office space and the expansion of the production area

• Performs light repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes

• Maintains an attractive, clean and well-maintained facility

• Performs general cleaning tasks in the facilities

• Maintains sidewalks and preps surfaces during inclement weather

• Performs other duties as assigned

Expectations:

• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, plumbing and carpentry repair

• Ability to operate tools and equipment used in routine repairs

• Strong communication skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Must be able to work from heights

• May work outdoors during inclement weather conditions

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous experience in related field(s) preferred.
