Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair heavy construction equipment
• Diagnose/repair diesel engine, electrical and hydraulic issues
• Prepare construction equipment for specific jobsite tasks
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment per manufacturer’s recommendations
• Perform field maintenance, as needed, on job active equipment
• Haul equipment for specific jobsite when needed
• Haul equipment/product as cargo for third party vendors when needed

Qualifications

Qualified Candidates should have:

• Specific degree is not required, but knowledge of diesel and hydraulic systems is a must
• Knowledge of electrical system is a plus
• Ability to reaching high and low, bending, lifting/carrying
• Ability to read schematic drawings
• Ability to use various hand tools
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Occasional travel is required
• Class A CDL - with airbrake

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Experience:

• Mechanic experience: 1 year (Required)
• Automotive repair: 1 year (Required)
