The Analyst II Technical Customer Support (Service Instructor) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for designing, developing, coordinating, and delivering industry leading training to end users and support personnel.
This position is part of the Global Professional Development department located in Miami, FL and will be Hybrid (Miami local) . At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Miami Training Center team and report to the Miami Training Supervisor responsible for ensuring that quality training is offered to meet the needs of our end users. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Deliver technical training programs and support materials for hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, immunoassay, and clinical information systems to customers
Utilize principles of instructional design in course development projects
Apply different adult learning styles and modalities to classroom instruction
Training content delivered via classroom, e-learning, webinars and other distance and self-paced, or on-demand learning methods
Use development content tools (Articulate, Camtasia, Storyline) to create effective and engaging e-learning
Design and develop training materials including storyboards, job aids, participant and instructor guides. All materials will be based on content and specifications provided by subject matter experts and/or approved documentation
Work with service management to standardize global training content delivery
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or in Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 2+ years' experience OR Master’s degree in same fields with 0+ years' experience
International and domestic travel up to 25%
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Clinical laboratory experience
Repairing Medical Devices or Field Service
Technical aptitude to comprehend technical product training content
