Title: Financial Analyst IV

Location: Newark, New Jersey

Duration: 6 months

Employment: Contract

Description:

• Develop SG&A budgets and quarterly forecasts for assigned divisions/companies including monitoring of reported results vs. projections and variation analysis.
• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of monthly accounting entries for the financial close and the preparation of related general ledger account analyses (e.g., account reconciliations, investigation of unusual or one-time items); this involves interfacing with divisional personnel.

Additional Skills:

• Lead financial reporting (e.g., board reports, divisional reports, scorecards, and dashboards).
• Provide guidance to less experienced financial analysts and quality review their work.
• May provide consultation or support to assigned divisions or companies on financial statement matters.

Education/Experience:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university.
• Requires a minimum of 7+ years of progressively responsible experience with general accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, and related functions preferably in the health insurance industry.
• Master's degree in business administration, accounting or finance a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $46.43 - $50.00 per hour
