POSITION SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist in the monthly and year-end closing process which includes analyzing and preparing data to support accounting team.
- Assist with provider payment and encounter reconciliations. Research issues and coordinate resolution between departments and providers.
- Assist with the preparation of Monthly and Quarterly reporting in value-based contracts, including State/CMS/DOH Filings and stoploss.
- Test reports to assure accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
- Support operations and clinical departments with ad hoc analytical requests via the data warehouse and other sources.
- Interact with other departments to identify and resolve issues and improve overall efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a BS/BA in Accounting, Actuarial, or Finance; 3 years of progressive financial analysis or actuarial experience; Medicaid and Medicare managed care experience a plus. Expert excel skills required.
