We are looking for a Financial Data Analyst to join our team! The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who can synthesize insights from various data sets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the forecast, and help maintain the strategic operating plan
• Develop and maintain financial and operating metrics
• Join financial and operational data as needed to enable good decisions
• Prepare variance reports, forecast updates, and support the close cycle as needed
• Lead financial data processes and support the rhythm of consistent reporting and of timely, accurate data flows
• Deliver executive-ready presentations and analyses and create dashboards and reports to guide business decisions
• Shape and continuously improve both standard reports and customized analyses to deliver ongoing insight to leaders
• Be an analytical partner to key leaders. Research ways of modeling data to unlock actionable insights or improve processes.
• Enhance operational excellence within the team by creating useful data automation wherever possible

Education/Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in an FP&A or data function, preferably within a biotech or biopharma company
• Experience in analytics and working with large data sets
• Experience visualizing data through dashboards and experience in data tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake)
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses and the ability to query, join and transform data from multiple sources
• Proven ability to build strong relationships of trust & influence
• Strong modeling & analytics, demonstrated business acumen, and great communication skills
• Solid experience with regression analysis, cohort analysis, and other conventional statistical modeling techniques
• Experience working with financial data sets and clinical data is a big plus
