Job description
As a Floor Care Technician, you are delegated the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
JOB DUTIES :
- Complete work requisition orders as needed
- Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures
- Set up equipment and supplies
- Moves furniture to and from residents rooms or other areas
- Dust mops floors, washes baseboards, wet mop floors
- Buffs floors and restrooms
- Scrubs floor using scrubbing machine
- Ensures a safe environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate all equipment in a safe manor
- Ability to interact and communicate with residents, staff and visitors in a courteous manner
- Previous experience within a care facility
- Ability to work independently or in a group
- Basic understanding of following step by step procedures
