In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Operating a bridge crane, yard vehicle, and preparing raw materials for use in process equipment
- Taking production samples and analyzing those samples in the production laboratory as well as taking action based on the obtained results
- Maintaining plant cleanliness in accordance with good manufacturing practices
Potentially relevant experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent with demonstrated good Math/Arithmetic skills preferred
- Relevant production experience preferred
- Ability to operate computerized control equipment and complete all reports/documentation
- Effective written and oral communication skills necessary
- Good, demonstrated reading and math skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, move/pull hoses weighing up to 20 pounds, climb stairs frequently, work at elevated heights and in confined spaces, bend, and turn valves using tools such as wrenches, etc.
- Ability to move various materials and tankers using a motorized forklift vehicle and yard jockey
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
