Front Office Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
· Greets, responds quickly and effectively to needs of patients and guests
· Collects all necessary fees and posts payments accurately
· Provides follow up confirmation of appointments for patients who failed to do so electronically
· Maintains the flow and paperless environment within the office
· Answers phone calls
· Promptly responds to voicemails and emails
· Resolve patient issues in accordance with company policies
· Manage patient scheduling and direct patient flow
· Properly maintain patient accounts and records
· Understand treatment plans
· Setup third party finance options for patients
· Assist patients in filling out required intake forms; ensure patient forms are filled out completely
· Provide patients with referral source information
· Keep track of office supplies and place supply orders when necessary
· Update and verify patient insurance information
· Cross-train to serve as back up clinical assistant as necessary
· Clean operatories as needed; prepare equipment for patient use
· Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail
· Maintain petty cash records
· Participates in staff meetings and trainings
· Ensure office/reception area is maintained and professional in appearance
· Maintain professional personal appearance
· Commitment to exceptional patient experience
· Create and contribute to a positive, supportive team environment
· Completes tasks as assigned

Minimum Requirements
· High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
· Intermediate proficiency skills in the use of Microsoft Windows, Outlook and Word
· Valid driver's license
· Ability to work independently and in a team setting
· Must work scheduled hours as assigned
· Positive, upbeat personality with a can-do spirit
Preferred Skills
· Previous dental receptionist/office experience
· Experience with Dentrix Ascend electronic dental records
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
