General Manager, Electrical Contracting – San Antonio
Edge Electric, a leading Austin-based electrical contractor focused on cutting edge commercial work, is looking for an experienced General Manager (GM) to lead and grow our presence in San Antonio. The General Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations, working closely with field electricians, administrative staff, and leadership.
The ideal GM has deep experience in electrical contracting, including project management and estimating. The GM should have relationships and a strong reputation with general contractors in San Antonio. The General Manager should have excellent leadership and mentorship skills and be passionate about providing exceptional customer service. This position reports directly to the President of Edge Electric.

Responsibilities:
Manage current and future projects in San Antonio and ensure high-quality execution
Manage all financial aspects of projects in San Antonio to drive profitable growth
Bid on project opportunities, leveraging estimating support from the head office
Deliver exceptional customer experience and cultivate new customer relationships
Oversee all local field staff, identify hiring needs, and assist with recruiting
Participate in weekly leadership meetings, held in the head office in Buda
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of electrical contracting leadership experience, ideally in commercial work
Experience in the San Antonio market and relationships with San Antonio general contractors required

• Electrical estimating experience required, ideally withAccubid Enterprise w/LiveCount, Vision EBM w/PlanSwift, or ConEst w/SureCount

Project management experience and experience using Procore required
Texas Journeyman’s License – Required
Texas Master Electrician License – Not required but a plus
Strong tech skills, especially with Microsoft Office products
