In this role, you will support the United States Geological Survey’s mission of providing world-class technical support in the acquisition and management of trusted geospatial data, services, and map products. You will be trusted to deploy accessible and accurate geospatial data for public viewing. Some of the most complex and dynamic mapping in the world is directly linked to the many talented GIS Analysts that lend their expertise to the national USGS programs. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 2+ years of related experience
- Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS software
- Knowledge of relational database design, data structure, and techniques/procedures used in data management systems
- Knowledge of geospatial data standards
- Knowledge of open-source geospatial technologies
- Must be able to maintain an adjudicated Public Trust (US Citizen or 3 years lawful permanent resident)
