The Associate Designer will work with the Senior Designer on product branding, packaging, and product graphics across all categories.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the Senior Designer in the creation of brand-right, commercial designs that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategy.
- Create seasonal graphics and icons from concept to execution for all categories and special product launches.
- Research and develop elevated graphic and surface techniques to push innovation.
- Use seasonal color palettes in graphic concepts to effectively provide color direction for cross functional partners.
- Assist Print team with creating seasonal assets for prints and patterns.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create branded, trims, elastics, and hardware across all categories of apparel, intimates, sleep, and accessories.
- Maintain organization of seasonal branding requests and libraries utilizing tools such as InDesign, Smartsheet, and file servers.
- Create and edit presentations for seasonal concepts, branding, and special projects.
- Partner with Surface, Print, and CAD teams to archive graphics for production.
- Understand the Pink visual DNA and use of graphic assets as it relates to products, branding, and packaging.
- Local shopping trips and campus visits.
Maximum Salary: $95,550.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
- BFA in Graphic Design or relevant experience with a proven history of commercially successful graphics
- Minimum 3-5 years graphic design experience in a related field
- Strong knowledge of Adobe CC programs for Mac OS including Illustrator, InDesign, & Photoshop.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and digital communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with typographic layouts and file naming/organization.
- Knowledge of the VS & Pink brand and customer.
- Previous packaging and apparel graphics experience is a plus.
- Illustration skills are a plus.
