SPRING IS HERE AND WE ARE BUSY!

Nationally branded independent hardware store with strong neighborhood ties is seeking a motivated and reliable individual with a great attitude to help our growing business with stocking, inventory, sales and customer service.

This is a part-time position and you must be available to work approximately 25-30 hours weekdays and weekends with occasional holidays. We have a very flexible schedule.

Primary job responsibilities: Cash register and cash handling, helping unload weekly delivery truck, stocking new inventory, move inventory from warehouse to sales floor, help customers load vehicles, help customers find what they need, help customers solve problems, making keys, mixing paint, assembling products, fixing windows and screens.

You must be physically capable of lifting/moving 40lbs or more on a frequent basis. Retail, stocking or trade school experience is preferred. Hardware store or home improvement experience is a plus but not necessary, we will train the right people for the job.

You should posses the following knowledge/skills: Strong math and good communication skills. Simple home repairs and hands-on tool use; Problem solving and the ability to multi-task A good sense of humor and a desire to learn new things every day.
