Caring People is a leading home health care provider. We are a privately held licensed home healthcare agency servicing the senior population. We are looking for a Recruiter to help cover our open positions including HHAs/LPNs/RNs. This position will require working in either our Bronx, NY office or Babylon, NY.
Recruiter responsibilities include coordinating our hiring process, sourcing qualified candidates and applying advanced interviewing techniques. Ultimately, you’ll employ your specialized skills and network to help us bring the right people on board. If you have experience recruiting in the healthcare industry and you’re an excellent communicator, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities
- Meet with hiring managers to discuss their hiring needs and formulate strategy
- Design and coordinate the hiring process
- Source qualified candidates via job sites, databases, networking etc.
- Help establish connections with professional groups, communities and other organizations
- Select and present qualified candidates to hiring teams
- Help hiring teams interview candidates through various methods (e.g. structured interviews, behavioral interviews)
- Advise hiring managers to help them make better hiring decisions
- Create reports on hiring progress and other recruiting metrics
- Assist with onboarding new hires
Mandatory Requirements:
- Knowledge of effective hiring practices (e.g. social media recruiting)
- Proven success as a recruiter
- Hands-on experience in the entire recruitment life cycle
- Must be reliable and have a positive attitude
- Must be okay with managing change and working under pressure
- Must be able to communicate very clearly
- Flexibility and the ability to multi-task
- Exceptional customer service skills & interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal laws with respect to home health care
Preferred Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a home health related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in full cycle recruitment
- 2 professional references
- Industry hiring experience is a plus
- Familiarity with recruiting software (e.g. Applicant Tracking Systems) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
