The Academy for Character Education (ACE) is seeking qualified and experienced teachers for our high school. The successful candidates will hold either:

- MA in English Composition & Rhetoric

- MA in History (any concentration)

- MAT (Secondary preferred)

ACE is a public charter school with a classical approach to education. We believe in providing a rigorous course of study founded in the principles of the Classical Trivium and partnering with families to meet the needs of our students.

We are currently seeking teachers to join our Rhetoric (high school) staff for our upper-level courses in English Language Arts and History, including Advanced Placement courses. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching at the high school level, enjoy working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team, and feel a deep commitment to developing students both academically and in personal character.

Responsibilities:

• Implement lesson plans and lectures.
• Teach students in a classroom setting.
• Provide students with clear, meaningful feedback and the opportunity to improve.
• Create effective lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Develop a rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
