The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible to oversee Employee Relations, Staffing, Employee Communications, Training and Programs to attract and retain employees for Sony Latin America US office. Advises company management in personnel policy and program matters making or recommending decisions consistent with strategic direction.
In this role you will coordinates the planning, development, implementation, administration and budgeting of: staffing, employee relations, training, employee communications, health and safety services programs
The position is also in charge of managing and coordinating all processes related to facilities
Specific Knowledge:
Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving.
Working knowledge of US Labor Laws
Bilingual – English/Spanish
Business knowledge-Sony Business tools – WorkDay (HR,Talent Comp and performance modules),SAP-HR

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for implementing strategies, programs and process for the effective utilization of the organization’s human capital for US Operation such as: Effective Training needs identification, Talent management, Diversity & Inclusion, Engagement, Communication Strategy in alignment with the business needs.
  • Maintain HR procedures and practices based HR policies including , EEO compliance, performance management, termination process, staffing, career development, benefits and general employee relations.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations by gathering all necessary information utilizing a formal & established methodolgy requiring technical depth & breadth of knowledge & expertise in subject area to ensure validity of outcome & effective decision making in presence of uncertainty or risk.
  • Work with the Benefit and Payroll SCA teams in order to provide support to local HR in regards to changes and plan details.
  • Responsible for human resource information in Workday associated with the maintenance of information, collection, retrieval, and usage of employee information for Human Resource planning and activities, incuding headcount reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (in lieu of education) and 7-9 years of experience in a generalist role interfacing at all levels of the organization providing consultative and facilitation support where good judgement is required and experience in proper selection methods and techniques are needed to achieve effective solution in areas such as, but not limited to, investigation process, performance facilitation and intervention, staffing strategies, consultative strategies, training and development.
