Operating with brands including HTP, NTI Boilers, Ariston and American Standard Water Heaters, Ariston USA is headquartered in Southeastern MA, with local manufacturing as well as Sales and Distribution locations throughout the US.

The HR Specialist in our Manufacturing Plant, will focus on these main activities:

  • Manage the recruiting process for all blue-collar manufacturing and warehouse positions, both permanent and temporary staffing.
  • Support the day-to-day HR related activities, including data analysis, internal communications, compensation & benefits, absenteeism management, disciplinary procedures, performance management and the like, in coordination with HR Director, HRBP and Plant Leadership team.
  • Manage weekly Payroll & Time/Attendance functions for manufacturing employees, and process weekly hourly payroll.
  • Be the point of reference for plant HR KPI with a special focus on labor cost and efficiency.
  • Represent the plant on People Development topics (e.g. Training / Skill assessment / Suggestion system etc.).
  • Be present on the manufacturing floor daily, to have an in-depth of understanding of issues, employee needs, business needs and have an eye for improvement opportunities.
  • Report solid line to the HR Director, and dotted line to the Operations Director, while successfully navigating a matrix organization
  • Other duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has a background in Human Resources, 5+ years working in an HR function directly in a manufacturing plant, and a Bachelor's Degree. They will also have:

  • Must be skilled in processing of payroll, time & attendance, and US labor regulations regarding pay practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve day-to-day issues in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good listening and communication skills, with both factory workers and Plant Leadership team.
  • Experience with ADP, or similar payroll reporting software, and SAP HR/SuccessFactors, a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information, while solving problems.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English & Portuguese, is a plus.

The successful candidate MUST be comfortable working daily in a manufacturing facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
