Description/Job Summary
The Human Resource Coordinator provides support to the Network HR Director at FPCN to maintain effective and efficient operations in recruitment, employee retentions, and operational related functions. This position interfaces with all levels of stakeholders, internally and externally to the organization. Supports and engages job seekers, clients and employees in a respectful and professional manner that upholds organizational values.
Responsibilities/Duties
Provide Administrative support related to Human Resources Department activities and operations.
Support the development of recruitment strategies for program job vacancies
Serve as an Administrator for RHD’s Applicant Tracking System
Human Resources Department activities and operationsAnswering phone calls regarding first level employee requests and question
Coordination of meetings, appointments, documentation, retreats and other team activities and initiatives
Assists with the coordination of training initiatives
Assist with the coordination and documentation of all exit interviews
Responsible for all employee retention activities.
Supports the HR Team with projects relating to strategic HR initiativesParticipates in identifying areas for operational and process improvement
Coordinates project assignments and teams if applicable
Facilitates the start-to-end administrative recruitment process for all positions
Coordinates the completion of New Hire Paperwork and onboarding.
Coordinators and faciliates new hire orientation quarterly and monthly to reach all new hires to engage and maintain retention.
Assist with drafting and sending of HR related correspondence, preparation and distribution of documents and other materials as needed.
Manage Network compliance program ensuring up to date background clearances and CPR. Works in coordination with credentialing department.
Assist with FMLA/ADA request tracking by communicating with benefits department and Network HR Director.
Handles college relations and oversees various sourcing and internship programs to increase presence in community and bring potential hires.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Help coordinate the use of temporary employees and ensure proper compliance in documents and proper exit.
Other duties assigned.
Required Experience
- 1-2 years in Human Resources field, preferably in a healthcare environment with recruitment experience.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred and/or equivalent experience
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills to manage numerous activities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and databases with willingness to learn all computer systems.
- Unconditional ability to maintain HIPAA regulations
- Professionalism, responsible, courteous and reliable
- Ability travel to external and internal locations
- Team Player and ability to adhere to RHD/FPCN values and mission.
- Demonstrates effective time management skills and follow through.
Program Summary
Family Practice and Counseling Network, a program of Resources for Human Development, is a network of community health centers providing comprehensive primary care, dental and behavioral health services. The Network consists of four health centers in Philadelphia – Abbottsford-Falls Family Practice & Counseling in the Northwest, the Stephen and Sandra Sheller 11th Street Family Health Services of Drexel University in the North, the Health Annex in the Southwest, and Annex West Health Center in West Philly housed in Action Wellness building (formerly Action AIDS), as well as the SBHC Collaborative, a partnership between Education Plus Health (EPH) and FPCN at CB School, B21 & Vaux, and Belmont Schools. Today the Network serves more than 20,000 patients annually and is an NCQA certified Patient-Centered Medical Home, and recognized by HRSA as a National Quality Leader for Behavioral Health.
The Network’s mission is to provide person-centered, integrated and comprehensive health services to individuals and families across their lifespan. The Network promotes resiliency and well-being among patients, staff and surrounding communities. Network services are targeted to the surrounding communities and the advisory committee that guides services primarily consists of people from the communities served.
RHD employees and programs in the City of Philadelphia are required to follow the COVID vaccine mandate. The City of Philadelphia has issued an Emergency Regulation Governing the Control and Prevention of COVID-19 Mandating Vaccines for Healthcare Workers and In Higher Education, Healthcare, and Related Settings (“Vaccine Mandate Regulation”), which mandates vaccine for healthcare workers and in higher education, healthcare, and related settings. This mandate became Effective on August 16, 2021 and requires Healthcare Workers and certain workers at Healthcare Institutions to be fully vaccinated by October 22, 2021. Fully vaccinated means it has been two weeks since the final dose of vaccine. Thus, we now require vaccination prior to start for all new hires.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
